Extend the toolkitAvailable in v0.3.0

A harness that keeps adapting

oah is a working reference and a guide you can adapt, not one perfect harness to adopt as is. Older rules and skills can hold a newer model back or make its results worse, so keep what helps, remove what no longer does, and change the rules as your tools change. A rule that gets in your way is a design problem to fix.

When you need it

A harness is usually set up once and left alone while the models and skills under it keep improving, so it slowly starts to hold the work back.

How it works

  1. Take the parts that help, or start with the whole setup and make it yours.
  2. Change the config, the stages and the rules to match your own goals, and grow your own project wiki and impact map as your code grows.
  3. Review your models, skills and rules as the tools change; oah follows model and skill updates and records each change.
  4. oah prefers defaults you can understand and change over checks you cannot turn off.

Requirements

  • Nothing; this is how the project is meant to be used.

Limits and recovery

  • oah keeps evolving too, so defaults and documentation change between releases.
  • The pages on this site describe one pinned commit; later releases may differ.
